My first "official" RC race was 1/21/2006 at 555 Raceway in Bartow, FL.
1/21/2017 <<< Eleven years later had raced 638 races!!!!
As of today (8/26/2017) 667 races and MORE are planed!! :-)

Mann's RC (Ruskin, FL)
Hoping for a GOOD day of On Road racing, was NOT disappointed!!!

Spec-R S2
13.5 TC
TQ'd first qual and removed right front a-arm during second qual!!!
Odd bit NO parts broken!!!!! Flexed enough to pull arm pin out of mounts!
Lost both pivot balls, hobby shop didn't have the ones needed, so. Checking bits, AE shock 6472 shock bushing with a little trimming and enlarging the mount hole, had two pivot balls.
A bit of tire sauce and go at to tone for win #199 of 666 races!

5 laps into first qual, pinion gear wanted to see the outside wall of the track, turn two!!
Gear was located and new set screw used. Thought it would be a good idea to put an outer, smaller, gear on also, so if gear was to come loose, wouldn't have to look for it.
TQ'd second qual, well enough to get the pole for the main.
Go at the tone for win #200 of 667 races.

Qual'd 4th and piped on lap two, marshal re-hooked right front link for me. Was able to come from 8th for a 5th place finish!!

Figured out what was going on with my mind. A touch of depression, from >>>>> being in the middle of trying to get house ready to sale so we can move to TN!!!!
Found a fix! IF we are not moved by the end of October, we will be in the Smokies (first full week on November) for a week of R and R!!!!!

Rob picked me up for some off road racing today. Clay, soda treated, JC lil' Chasers are the tires to have. 100 to 60% tread on the rear and 10% in the front work well.
Tire day for me testing other brands and treads to see if there was a better tire. After practice and first qual, Chasers were back on for the main.
TQ and go at the tone, would like to say I looked GREAT driving away with the win, BUT. Piped it 2 times and had to work from 3rd back to 1st, then finished a lap up (crossed the timing loop ahead of the rest, to get a lap on everyone at the end of 6 min main).
2nd started 5th and 3rd started 3rd.

SS Hobbies (Tampa, FL)
Rob's car caught fire at work, seat (pass side) shorted out. So, we were about an hour late getting to track. Picked up rental car first.

Little side bit, getting house cleaned up (remove 18 years of junk) so we can move to TN is taking longer than we thought, so my mind isn't FULLY on racing!!!

Never made it to half way in first qual, and was done in ST class for the day.
Nosed a jump, moved the motor AND removed the servo mounts from the servo. Didn't have a backup servo.

Qual'd 2nd in first heat, was 3rd after second heat. 2nd round of qual's, my first round was good enough to hold on to 3rd.
Go at the tone and first turn 2nd slowed more than I though he would and NASCARED him, slowed to let him back into 2nd and 3 racers hit him. Screwed 3 jumps (Same jump. 3 laps in a row) finished 7th.

The BEST part of the day, after signing up while walking back to the pit, seen Jeff and his son Corey (both Team Holly Rollers members, like I am) We haven't seen each other in almost 2 years! Corey is almost 2 feet taller!!!!!

Race fee $$$$ change!!
Was $10 per class up to 2 classes any other FREE!!!
Now $20 unlimited number of classes.
I normally only race ONE class, so my racing over head doubled!!!!
AND >>> new layout!!!! <<< That is a good thing!

SS Hobbies (Tampa, FL)

First race at SS since we decided to move to TN. My mind is on all the bits, to do this move.
Mike, was in the class again, so I knew, it would be a FULL every lap race.
Mike TQ'd and just drove away for the win!!!!
Side bit, Mike and I first met last Feb. We have became friends over the past few months.
Quals are fun and friendly, with the mains >> we race each other cleanly!!!

On Road / Oval Day!!

Decided to build a Oval SC!! Put the AE 3300 system in out of a T4 RTR.
B3 rear buggy wheels on the front and T4 rear wheels on the rear.
Wasn't the fastest SC BUT was the best at the turns!!!!!
TQ'd both qual's and won the main.

Spec-R S2
Planed to race Supertruck (Oval) BUT they put us with 13.5 TC's (On Road)!!
Made body change from Supertruck to TC.
Changed left front spring from Blue to Gold. Normally, would change right front from Gold to Blue. It's a oval thing, stronger spring on right front shock.
The Spec-R S2 has always had a twitchy run on a straight, NOT now!!!! YEA!!! Gold springs!!!
TQ'd both qual's and won the main!!
