Hoped for enough Super Trucks to have a class, 4 total :-)

tires, Tires >> TIRES!!!! The complete lack of good (New) tires.

Was able to qual 4th :-) as we were lining up for main a racer hit a pipe and broke.

Finished 3rd!

Started out with 7 in class during quals, Dad's took the kids home. So there were 4 of us left. Qual'd 2nd by 2 sec's.

Notice the past two months the shorty lipo was needing a HIGH amount of charge 4.6 and up after a 4 minute race. Getting old like me!

Took the battery out of Spec-R S2, it's a 4wd buggy battery (two single cells), a LOT of push with this battery config!!!

NO TQ or 1st :-( 2nd down one lap!

Rob couldn't make it, AND Bobby >> Picked up a semi pro looking for another win! To race with us (his grandson).

TQ'd both qual's and won the main!

Now has AE 7.1 front / rear a-arms / c-hubs and new front bumper parts.

TQ'd both quals and won the main.

13.5 Spec TC

Changed body to a TC. TQ'd with tires for War Zone next week, wanted to get them scrubbed in.

A set of 36R's were mounted and was running 1 to 1.5 sec a lap faster!!!!!

Won!

Front tires are a set of Panthers not Losi!!!!!

Set preload on front springs to zero at the top of shocks, screwed rears down 4 turns from top, turned OK.

TQ'd both qual then screwed the rear shocks tops back to zero <<< WRONG thing to do. Push was back!!!!

Won!

Spec-R S2 >> Super Truck

Tires from last week at War Zone were drift tires at Mann's!

Put a set of 36R on and cleaned them with 50/50 Simple Green/water. They take 4 laps to come up to temp, then it's FULL power!! For two TQ and the WIN!!!!

Tried some Stadium Truck tires in place of the normal SC tires. Only had some Losi "silver" compound tires for the front, these are drift tire when on the rear. A little push, which worked well on the north end of oval, learned the QUICK way around.

Two TQ's and a 2nd. About 1/3 of the way in, heard a odd noise and a lack of power, thought it was the diff cause I had forgot to check it after the rebuild from last week. Wasn't the problem, broke the left rear wheel axle pin.

Could NOT get the SC5 to turn, found out why in the main, idler and diff gear choose to go toothless!!! Diff was going out and won't spin right in a turn.

Tried 3 different tires and it was drift city!!! Rob loaned me a set of his "OLD" tires. Qual'd in 2nd, about 3 laps in hit the wall and drove the rest on 3 wheels!!
