Rob picked me up and off we went for a 2 hour ride!!!

Short Course

SC5M

During the 2nd qual, had a steering servo die!!!!

Replaced it, switched the tires front to rear and some tire sauce, I'm ready for the main.

Lined up in 4th and ROB, lined up in front of me!!!! That has NEVER happened before!!

Go at the tone was in 2nd by turn 3. A few laps later was 3rd then a few from the end was passed again for a 4th. Rob finished in 5th just a few sec behind me!!

Drove hard both qual's and the main.

Was in 1st at times, mostly 40-50 foot behind Hanna in first.

She clearly out drove me!!!  :-)

Killed another ESC!!!! After TQ'ing the class.

Finished 3rd.

Spec-R S2

Supertruck class TQ'd and was in first driving away!!! Then tried a different line, MORE Oval like and full powered into the corner wall taking the right front off the chassis!!!

Finished 3rd.

NOT a good day!!! Fried a ESC!!!

So, the GT2-E came out and took a hit on the last lap of the 2nd Qual. The PT came loose and didn't count so lost the TQ by the lap I had over the racer in 2nd!!!

Made up for it by winning the main!!!!

Spec-R S2

Was the only VTA there, put me in with USGT's.

Car wasn't tail happy like it has been for the past few months.

BUT it pushed bad in big turns!!!

As I'm racing in USGT class put TC tires on. NOW this thing turns, jumps out of the corners and isn't twitchy on the straights.

Finished 3rd.

Mann's did a redesign of their on road track.

SC5M

2wd SC was raced on the oval part of the new layout.

TQ'd first qual, 2nd in 2nd qual, still had TQ by a lap.

Chose the inside start position for the main, got away clean into turn one. No problems in the lead until back markers got in the way. At times was in 3rd, then back markers got in the way of 1st and 2nd!!!!

 They finished 2nd and 3rd behind the SC5M.

Spec-R S2

VTA was raced on the road course, qual'd 3rd. Was a foot behind 1st for a lap. Looking for a opening when I got to close to a pipe in a turn, started lap two in last!!!!

By mid race was in 2nd looking for 1st!!! But ran out of time.

OFF ROAD Saturday!!!!!  :-)

The only change from 2 weeks ago, was the move of the Transponder farther forward about 2 inches!

TQ'd 1st qual. Lead 18 of 23 laps. Back marker put me into a pipe then as I tried to get by 1st, stuffed it into a pipe!!!! And Rob got by!!! Made up all but .727 sec's for a 3rd to Jason and Rob.

TQ'd both qual's and drove away for the win!!!!!

Two weeks ago Rob drove my SC5M and wished his Slash drove like that!!!

RC Wish mod'd the Proline Sash chassis from rear motor to mid motor. Plus a few other bits.

Results >>> Rob went from finishing, normally 1 or more laps behind me, to 1.003 sec's in front of me!!!!!!

RC Wish also had a look at Rob's AE Prolite SC RC. Offered some setup changes and chassis mod's. Rob liked them for the first qual, made one adjustment to the front ride height for 2nd qual and he was ready for the main.

Result >>> WON the main!!!!

Rob said "we racing off road next week pick you up about 8:30"!!!!! Last week during the 3rd Annual Shriners race.

TQ'd both qual's and had a 1/3 lap lead on 2nd with 3 laps to go, when a back marker put me into a pipe!!!

Made up the lead Johnny had on me. BUT still lost by  >>>>>> point 081 of a sec!

That's 8 hundredth of a sec. Now that's CLOSE!!!!!

Track isn't high grip blue groove like many of the tracks I race on, so the ONLY rear motor racer that I own was prepped.

TQ'd and WON!!!

 3rd Annual Shriners Benefit Race

ALL $$$$$ go to Shriner's!!!!

Last race this thing was total JUNK!

Got the setup out from last years Shriners's race (TQ'd both qual's and won that race).

Had bits of GREATNESS, but needed 6 minutes.

Qual'd 3rd and finished 3rd BUT >>>> 1st and 2nd NEVER lapped me!!!!!!  :-)

During practice this thing PUSHED in the corners like a dump truck!!!!

Changed >> camber, link position, link length, ride height (lowered the front raise the rear).

Last resort changed front tires! Any racer worth their weight in CA knows tires are 90% of a setup.

Changed everything back to start positions but keep the front tire change!!!!

TQ'd both qual's and won the main!!!!

The Shriner's had a 50/50 drawing, had the $20 ticket, gave the $20 back to the Shriner's!!!
