Lets start with May.

11th to 24th

Vacation in order of travel >> FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, KY, IL, IN, OH, KY, TN, GA and finely FL.

Nice cruise to Atlanta, to make the the run to Tupelo, MS Made it in 11 parsec's!!! And up to Selmer, TN.

4 days with part of the kids. Did some hiking at Big Hill Pond State Park (done this same trail in Sept 2017). Enjoyed the kids new home, great location in Selmer. Gena and I drove around looking at what there is there to live in when we move there.

Five days later >> Drove up through TN, KY to IL to see Dad and Mom, Dad is 92!!!!! <<< WOW!!!!

"Hiked" Dad's back yard, it's like a miniature Smoky Mountains! Gave my Sissy (sister) a 8" tablet with her own email account and Facebook account, she is one Happy Camper!!! She joined me on a hike of Sangamon River Nature Trail, just a couple miles south of the house.

Another fives days and through IN, OH, KY, we are on our way to Eastern TN. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park and MORE family. Hikes to Chimney Tops and back <<< that is ALWAYS the IMPORTANT part >> getting back.

Gena's wheelchair tires were bad :-( didn't notice until IL. A employee at Rowdy Bear Coaster in Gatlinburg got us an address to a repair/supply (Bess and Co.) source. No tires but a good WC for $20 a day. They SAVED the day for us. Downtown Gatlinburg in May is just SWEEEET!!!!

Coming south out of Sevierville you see the Smokies behind Pigeon Forge!!

Rob couldn't make it so! It was Bobby and I. We pitted together, it's a easy pit to get to AND to set cam up for youtube video's.

Quick-est lap 5.247 <<< Getting close to 4 sec laps!!!!!!

TQ'd both qual and WON the main for race #698!!!!

Smitty showed up with a VERY FAST Traxxas Rustler. Was doing laps just about 5 sec!!!!

But!!!! Walls and pipes got him and finished 4 laps down in 3rd.

Race #699 is a WIN!!!!!

Rob, Bobby and I planned to race Super Truck today, planned this last week while at War Zone.

TQ and the WIN!!!!!! Rob 2nd, Bobby 3rd.

Rob, Bobby and I planned to race this class also. So did 5 other racers!!!

Rob was racing his Losi 22SCT 3.0, after last week at War Zone, he put his toys away for oval racing!

Johnny got the TQ, i was in 2nd and Rob started 3rd. Was by Johnny by turn two and spun in turn 3. Rob and I were by Johnny in two-three laps. got by Rob and was looking to pull away >>> THEN!!!!

Rolled her over in turn two and was never close to Rob after that. A couple more dumb moves and Rob had two laps on me. Rob's first CLEAR win over me!!! Was able to stay in front of Bobby for 2nd.

We only raced one class, three of us planned to race and after we got there two more joined us.

Rob was having a problem getting the SMOOOOOOTH on with his Slash.

The SC5 was HOOKED for two TQ's!!!!

Right rear is still not hooking up! Been LAZY and not replaced it!!!

TQ'd both quals and won the main <<<< reason I'm being LAZY about tire!!!

Spec-R S2

Changed from 13.5 class to 17.5 class. Same motor !!!! Been racing in 13.5 with a 17.5.

All my tires are over a year old, until today it was like drifting the last part of a race. Treated tires with WD40 << first time with on road tires. Hooked up full five minutes of main, for the win!!!!

Added 1mm spacer at rear hub link, moved rear arms 1mm forward, rear is HOOKED!!!

NEED a new set of 32R tires, need them BAD!!!!!!!!

Started 4th was in 1st by lap 1 and out on lap 14!!! Piped the left side on car, broke steering hub!

Was gone at the tone, tires NOT working, changed right rear for main >> didn't have the same traction!! Nosed into outer wall and Allen got by, then roller over pipe upside down. Thought I was only one lap down to Allen. Passed him, as I tried to put him down a lap in the last two turns, I nascared him into the wall!!! Waited for him, let him back in front, we passed under timing loop and he beat me by POINT 01 seconds!!! Found out I was TWO laps down not one!!!!!  :-)

Quad in 2nd, hit in left rear at turn one, this rolled the body up on the tire. then hit 2 times in turn 2. One of the turn 2 hits took the right front steering link loose. Was down 7 laps by the time link was re-fastened and I was back on drivers stand.

Was able to make 6 of the laps up to finish 3rd.  :-)

Did NOT get TQ!  :-(

As we came out of turn 1 at the start, nascar-ed Allen (TQ)!!!

Slowed to let Allen back in front was hit by two racers! Was down a lap and one turn. By lap 12 Allen was behind me in 2nd.
