Monkey drove over, haven't got to sit back and enjoy the beautiful Florida country side going to or from a RC race in YEARS!!! Thanks Monkey!!!
Lead for most of the 1st qualifier (3rd race of the day) for ele stadium truck. Missed a jump and got passed next to the last lap, the racer would have passed me within the next lap anyway, he was running about 3 sec faster a lap than me!! I had the wrong tires for the track surface AND he was JUST FASTER!!!
As the horn sounded to finish the 4th race >>> RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Watched a EZ-UP roll through the north pit area as I was grabbing my EZ-UP, sure did get wet getting things into the cab of the truck!!!
SO! I guess I finished 2nd in Ele Stadium Truck!!! :-)

About half way back driving down Rt 37, we passed a alligator who was going south in the north lane about full speed! Thought Monkey was going to have a pants problem!
I've alway been concerned about the odd deer or hog out in the country like that coming back from Bartow or DC BUT I NEVER thought about a alligator!!

Fri 7/17/09
Same ol' BORING, DEPENDABLE :-) Fri night at Farmers!!!
Took the T4SC to test a lipo battery I had build from two lipo batteries.
Track dried out before the first qualifier and I had problems with traction using "Old" BowTie tires!!!
TQ'd by a lap in qulifier two and finished 1st a lap ahead of 2nd place!!!

AMB not working NO Race
Race director could not get the AMB system to work so the transponder loop would not work, NO racing!
Drove the GT2 two full tanks worth, the sound of 30% Nitro, SWEET to my ears!
Was driving the SC10/T4/Slash, on the third lipo battey when the cell tabs burnt off!!!! There go's my 3cell Hong Kong "Cheapo" lipo!! Maybe in August I will put "Race" tires on it and see what she'll really do!!!! Drove and jumped SWEET with old tires!!!
Tested the FT T4 with the new Tekin 10.5 motor. This is one SWEET motor, I thought the Speed Passion 13.5 was good, BUT this Tekin 10.5 is GREAT!!!!

Finished 2nd got OUT DROVE by a racer from Ft Myers!!
He lapped me at the 8 minute mark of the ten minute main!!!!!
